Abstract

Should businesses be able to rely on religious liberty to avoid antidiscrimination laws? Certain faith traditions do not recognize, or support, same-sex marriage. Individuals and business owners within these faiths often struggle when faced with state laws and city ordinances that prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation.
