Abstract

It is testimony to the status of the great case of Hadley v. Baxendale' that even after 150 years helpful discussion and learning can result from a two-day conference of experienced contracts teachers with the case itself as the centerpiece. As the renderings in the pages of this volume attest, such indeed resulted from a merry gathering in Gloucester, England in June 2004.
